@thecrawford didn't happen for me either (on iD from Carephone Warehouse which used the 3 network) - checked and the emergency notifications were enabled!

@thecrawford sounds about right about 3 - son is on Vodaphone and he got it no problem!

@thecrawford Are you on 3G? If so, you won't have got the alert, and you'll have other 'phone problems in your future coming soon.
